Japanese armorial porcelain is rare, it mostly dates to the late 17th and early 18th centuries, rather than the second half of the 18th century like the present example. We have not been able to trace the arms and can not even say which country the piece was made for.Japanese armorial porcelain is rare, it mostly dates to the late 17th and early 18th centuries, rather than the second half of the 18th century like the present example.
