An 18th Century Sevres Porcelain Coffee Can and Saucer
An 18th Century Sevres Porcelain coffee cup and saucer with the date letter for 1771. The straight sided cup or can sits in a deep everted saucer. The painting of informal scattered garden flowers, including roses and hydrangea, is typical of Sevres porcelain at this period. The base is marked with interlaced ‘LL’ for Louis.
No damage, however the saucer has some wear to the gilt rim and some minor wear to the flowers.
