A Ming Blue and White porcelain dish, late Wanli to Tianqi c.1610 – 1625. The moulded porcelain dish depicts Shoulou in a landscape.

This shape with the moulded cavetto appears with several different designs during the late Ming dynasty, including patterns in the Kraak style. It seems likely to me that several of the workshops producing Kraakware also made porcelain for the Japanese market.
