An Unusual Kangxi Blue and White Porcelain Dish in the Delft Style c.1700-1720. The Oval Shaped Form is Decorated in a a Deep Cobalt Blue with a Bird (Phoenix ?) in Flight.

Since the 17th century the family were `rolreders` (sailcloth producers) in Krommenie, North Holland, as well as being merchants and ship owners with many links to the East India trade.



Condition: Very good, one area where the glaze is fritted c.5 mm.
