Condition
In good condition, a small glaze chip to the rim c.4 x 2 mm, see the last photograph, there is a shallow glaze frit of the same length. The Marchant catalogue describes this as having a "hair crack". We have looked again and again but we can not see a crack, the dish rings well when taped. All I can think is that when Marchant catalogued it they might have thought a very fine scratch in the glaze was a crack, as almost everything from the collection was damaged this is a reasonable assumption. We are selling it as being in an un-cracked state, in other words the same condition it was in when we sold it to Professor Laurence.
