The form has sometimes been linked with the Dutch artist Cornelis Pronk (1691-1759) but the connection is tenuous to say the least. However the shape and decoration are clearly derived from a European original.



Condition: The sharp edges of the bodies are fritted, especially around the middle of the vases.
