An Early 19th Century Japanese Blue and White Porcelain Bowl c.1800-1840. The Bold Design on this Thickly Potted Deep Bowl is of a Long Flowing Ribbon Issuing From a Large Clam with Other Clams Among Aquatic Plants. There are Three Buildings on Stilts in the Distance. The Exterior is Painted with a Repeated Highly Simplified Depiction of Clams with Ribbons.
