Unusual Kangxi 1662 – 1722 Blue and White Porcelain European Form Candle Stick.

A Kangxi Blue and White Porcelain Candlestick c.1700. The Baluster Form with a High Domed Bases has a Slightly Everted Rim.

Condition
In poor condition : there is a large filled hole to the base and a crack across the base. There is a poorly restuck section to the top with an associated crack.

Kangxi porcelain candlesticks are rare, most candlesticks date from the Yongzheng and Qianlong periods. Only a few forms are known to have been made from the Kangxi period.
