A Kangxi blue and white porcelain teapot c.1700 painted with a version of the ‘Hundred Antiques’ design as well as a mountainous landscape. This Chinese export porcelain teapot takes it’s shape from a traditional Chinese winepot.
Condition: There is a flake shaped shallow chip under the tip of the spout c.3 x 6mm, this is mostly glaze. There is a wide area of fritting to the reverse rim above the landscape. Other areas of fritting and a small very shallow chip underneath the cover in the unglazed area c.5 x 2mm
