NABESHIMA c.1750 – 1820 Japanese Porcelain

A Late 18th or Early 19th Century Nabeshima Bowl, Nabeshima Kilns, ōkawachi Near Arita c.1750-1820. The Shallow Bowl has Gently Sloping Sides Which have Ogee Moulding, it Sits on a High Slightly Inwardly Sloping Foot. The Center is Painted with a Dragon Curled Into a Circle with Ruyi-Head Shaped Clouds. The Back with Typical Nabeshima Style Decoration.

Condition
Some damage, a chip to the small V-shaped section of the rim is missing and has been filled c.11 x 9 mm a very fine crack runs from this c.11 mm. The rim has a small firing crack c.5 mm.
