A Japanese Porcelain Cup c.1690 – 1740. The flared white porcelain cup is moulded to the interior with lotus leaves and insects, there is some fine detail if you get the cup at the right angle, the ribs of the underside of the lotus leaf are clearly shown. The base is indistinctly marked in underglaze-blue.
Condition: Good. There are two small rim chips, mostly glaze, c.3 x 3mm and 2 x 2mm.
