YONGZHENG or EARLY QIANLONG c.1730 – 45 Chinese Export Porcelain Over-Decorated in Holland

A Chinese Export Porcelain Teabowl and Saucer, Yongzheng or Early Qianlong c.1730-1745. The Thinly Lobed Form Delicately Incised with an Open Lotus Flower and Decorated with Three Large Grasshoppers. The Dutch Over-Decoration Consists of Butterflies Painted Directly Over the Grasshopper with Additional Butterflies as Well as Gilded Panels and Borders All with Iron-Red Edges.
