QIANLONG 1736 – 1795 Chinese Export Porcelain

An Unusual 18th Century Chinese Export Porcelain Plate, Qianlong Period c.1760. Decorated in Famille Rose Enamels with a Scene of an Outdoor Performance. The Focus of the Design is of an Acrobatic Performance on a Bridge, an Elegantly Dressed Woman is Being Held Aloft by a Man Using one Hand. The Crowded Scene is Full of Female Musicians and Onlookers Gathered Around the Acrobats.
