KANGXI 1662 – 1722. Kangxi Porcelain

A Kangxi Blue and White Porcelain Gu-Shaped Vase. Decorated in a Rich Cobalt Blue in the Archaic Style. The Slightly Swollen Central Section is Painted with Fierce Taotie Masks Clasping Their Jaws Around the Top Section of a Loop. This is Set Against a Diaper Ground, the Upper and Lower Registers are of Stylised Stiff Leaves.
