A Rare Massive Yongzheng Famille Verte Beaker Shaped Vase. Extremely Well Painted with an Unusual and Dramatic Scene of an Elegantly Dressed Lady Attacking a Rather Docile Looking Tiger. She is Shown with Her Knee Pressing Down on the Tigers Back While She Holds it Still by the Scruff of the Neck, Her other Hand is Clenched, Raised and Ready to Strike. The Reverse of this Brightly Enamelled Scene is a Great Contrast, a Peasant Looks on in Shock While his Adze.

A beaker vase of this size and shape clearly formed part of a Chinese export porcelain garniature, comprising of two beaker vases with three baluster vases and covers. It is unusual to find such a Chinese taste scene on what is clearly export ware.
