KANGXI 1662 – 1722 Chinese Export Porcelain
A Large Very Heavy Early Kangxi Blue and White Porcelain Bowl c.1670. The Substantially Potted Bowl with Steep Sides and a Small Everted Rim Sits on a Channelled Foot. The Full Decoration in a Rich Deep Tone of Cobalt Blue is of Meandering Flowering Lotus to the Exterior, the Well is Decorated with a Lotus Roundel. The Gilt Two-Part Bronze Stand which Supports the Bowl Fits Into the Ridge of the Channel Foot, The Stand is in the Chinese Style and is Probably 19th Century.

- The bowl has three cracks : 148 mm, fine, clean and sealed. 32 mm quite clean, sealed, a small filled chip to the rim. 18 mm fine clean and sealed.
