An Unusual 17th Century Japanese Porcelain Dish

Edo Period c.1650 - 1670

An Unusual 17th Century Moulded Japanese Celadon Dish, Arita Kilns c.1650-1670. The rectangular dish with a three-character inscription in Chinese cursive script, roughly translated it eludes to bamboo dancing in the wind. The top left of the moulded dish imitates folded paper.

Condition
In good condition, however there is a shallow chip to the corner of the footrim. The glaze is crazed, this appears more pronounced in the photographs than it is in reality. There is a small stain, perhaps a firing fault where the last character is.
