A 17th Century Bronze Winepot or Teapot, Late Ming to Kangxi.

A 17th century Bronze winepot or teapot, late Ming or Qing, Wanli to Kangxi. The heavily cast melon form pot has lotus leaf ends at the top of the six tapered rounded segments. The cover is secured by a chain and the small rounded finial sits on six flower petals.

Condition
In excellent condition, a few very tiny dents. The flange of the cover looks as if part of it wasn't cast properly and so it is shorter in one area.
