A Ming porcelain ‘Shou’ bowl, the base with a six character Wanli mark and of the period 1573 – 1620. The curved rounded deep bowl is painted with five auspicious ‘Shou’ characters, one to the well of the bowl and the other four to the exterior. The base with a six character Wanli mark within a double-lined rectangular frame.

- There is a fine sealed crack from the rim c.45mm. There is some fritting and minor glaze chips to the rim. There are two minor fritting faults to the exterior.
