A Rare Small Kangxi Blue and White Porcelain European Form Taperstick / Candlestick c.1690-1710. The Square Canted Base Supports a Shaped Square Stem with a Circular Aperture for the Candle. Decorated with Flowering Plants and Insects.

A very similar Kangxi blue and white `taperstick` from the Helena Woolworth McCann Collection, Purchase, Winfield Foundation Gift, 1970 (1970.266.3) is on display in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York (On view in Gallery 201).
