NEVERS c.1670 – 1700 French Faïences

A Rare 17th Century Nevers Star Shaped Dish with a Chinese Style Landscape. The Blue and White Decoration is Augmented by the use of Manganese Oxide. The Chinoiserie Scene is Based on Late Ming and Early Qing Porcelain from the Transitional Period (c.1640-1670). There are Three Large Stilt Marks to the Reverse.
