QIN or Early WESTERN HAN c.220 – 100 B.C. Han Pottery
A Qin (221 – 206 B.C.) or Early Western Han (Western Han 202 B.C. – A.D 6) Cocoon or Duck Egg Shaped Pottery Jar Yadan Hu c.220 – 100 B.C. The Bulbous Ovoid Body is Supported by a Gently Flared Foot, the Waisted Neck is Topped by a Protruding Rim. This Jar has a Burnished Surface that Would not Have Been Decorated.
